The Loudoun Freedom was formed in 2004 to provide players in Loudoun County the opportunity to develop advanced basketball skills and knowledge and to play in a very competitive environment. The Freedom's philosopy and goal is to attract and develop the top basketball talent from around the county and neighboring areas (regardless of school or neighborhood) so that players consistently challenge themselves and each other to make each other better. This approach has resulted in the Freedom developing many of the top players in the county over the past 8 years.

Year-Round Opportunities

The goal of Loudoun Freedom is to offer year-round playing opportunities for girls third grade and up as an alternative to playing in local neighborhood recreational leagues or organizations. We will promote teams at all levels to play competitively in the spring, summer, fall and winter through participation in AAU league and/or tournament play.

The Freedom is dedicated to improving the level and interest in girl's basketball in Loudoun County and to raise the level of play available to girls at a younger age than what is offered by the local rec leagues. The Freedom represents a strong alternative for those families, players and coaches looking for a better basketball experience.

The primary values of the Loudoun Freedom include self confidence, selflesslessness, team-first mentality, hard work, respect, loyalty, self-control, leadership, and other qualities that build strong and positive characters. We understand the faith and trust that families place in an organization and its coaches in developing their children. We firmly believe that the Loudoun Freedom represents the best choice for your child.

The Loudoun Freedom is an AAU non-profit basketball organization.
