The Loudoun Freedom is an AAU basketball organization that has been catering specifically to the needs of female athletes since 2004. The Freedom offers quality coaching and provides players with a year-round opportunity to develop advanced basketball skills and knowledge while playing in very competitive environment. The organization emphasizes player development and welcomes all girls from 2nd grade through 11th grades who are interested in playing at a higher level. Our goal is to attract and develop the top talent from Loudoun and neighboring counties so that the best players are constantly challenging themselves and each other to improve their skills.

Freedom Fall Tryouts/Workouts

The Loudoun Freedom is holding informal tryouts and workouts in August to fill openings for girls basketball teams between rising 4th grade and 8th grade. There are two opportunities for interested players to attend workouts, get information on the Loudoun Freedom, and potentially join the organization. The Freedom will support teams this fall and winter in 4th through 8th grade. Interested 3rd graders and high school age players can inquire as to plans for these age groups. Freedom Fall League

The Loudoun Freedom is organizing a fall league to start in early September 2018. Games will be held on Saturdays in Loudoun County, VA. The goal is to offer a quality destination for girls teams in 4th through 8th grade. If there is interest in a HS-level effort, that can be considered.

Fight Like a Girl" (FLG) Tournament

The Loudoun Freedom will host its annual Fight Like a Girl (FLG) tournament October 27-28, 2018. This tournament supports girls teams from 3rd grade through 8th grade. The ability to support high school teams depends on turnout. The tournament is held to raise funds in support of women diagnosed with breast cancer. We hope you will consider putting the FLG tournament on your fall schedule!

Days for Girls

The Loudoun Freedom supports the efforts of the Days for Girls Loudoun County organization and their efforts to increases access to person care and education by developing global partnerships, cultivating social enterprises, mobilizing volunteers, and innovating sustainable solutions that shatter stigmas and limitations for women and girls around the world. Days for Girls works to create a world with dignity, health, and opportunity for all.
