The mission of the Loudoun Freedom is to establish a vehicle in which players can be afforded the opportunity to develop advanced basketball skills and to play in a competitive environment. The primary goal of the Freedom is to attract the top basketball talent from Loudoun County and its surrounding areas, and in keeping with this goal, the organization is open to all players, regardless of school or neighborhood. The Freedom operates under the guiding principle that by assembling the most talented players in the area, these players will be able to consistently challenge each other to improve their individual skills and make each other better. This will, in turn, help elevate the level of women's basketball across the county.
Tryouts will be held for girls teams in the U10, U11, U12, U13, and a U15 age groups. In addition, a developmental U8/U9 group will be put together. The tryouts will take place in the time frame between Feb. 13, 2010 and early March, 2010.

Notes:
1. Fielding teams is dependent on having significant, quality turnout of players as well as strong coaches who represent the values and skill sets promoted by the organization.
2. If turnout at tryouts allows, we will form multiple teams in specific age groups. We would need coaches for any second team.
3. Teams may not be formed in certain age groups, or some age groups could be merged, if turnout doesn't allow the creation of coherent teams.
