2. If turnout at tryouts allows, we will form multiple teams in specific age groups. We would need coaches for any second team.
3. Teams may not be formed in certain age groups, or some age groups could be merged, if turnout doesn't allow the creation of coherent teams.

TRYOUT FEES AND MEMBERSHIP FEES
(1) Tryout Fee: $25 (Non-refundable registration fee is due at the tryouts)
(2) Basic Loudoun Freedom Fee Structure:
The Loudoun Freedom regular fee structure for the Spring 2010 season for new players is as follows for all teams: assume between $300-$400.
Returning members who do not need uniforms or warm-ups will have a different fee structure; assume betwee $200-$300. Certain fees, such as tournament and gym costs, vary each year.
IMPORTANT: Players should be prepared to make a financial commitment at the time of selection.
The regular fees cover the following cost items:
- Player Uniforms (for new players)
- 7-8 tournament season
- Gym Usage Fees
- Club Administrative Costs
- Team Practice Equipment
- Note: Player Warm-Ups/Gym Bag are extra
Notes:
All fees should be made through a check made out to Loudoun Freedom.
There is a non-refundable $25 registration fee due at the tryouts as indicated above.
Coaches will inform all prospective players of their status shortly after the second tryout.
Loudoun Freedom fees do not cover membership to any organization other than AAU (i.e., USSSA, tournament gym entry
fees); these will be additional costs.
The actual creation of a team in a particular age group is dependent on turnout, gym space availability, and
the presence of a quality coach.
Turnout, gym space availability, and the presence of a coach will dictate whether or not a second team is formed in
an age group.
The fees for Showcase and U15/16 or older teams will vary depending on the actual tournaments selected. It is
important to note that a number of the tournaments for the upper ages cost several hundred dollars more than regular AAU
tournaments for participation. Coaches will develop a full schedule after tryouts.
The creation of U15, U16, or older teams will depend on turnout and the right mix of talent.
(3) Payments
Payments for all teams shall be made using one of the two options:
In full on the first practice or when full costs are communicated to members.
80% on the first practice followed by the balance due on April 1. April 1 marks the likely beginning of tournament play.
ALL Loudoun Freedom Membership fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and not PRO-RATED.
Any players with a delinquent fee from a previous season will be required to pay all outstanding Loudoun Freedom fees
as well as 2010 Membership fees IN FULL on the day of selection. ALL balances for current year (2010) memberships must
be paid by 1 April. Players will not be allowed to participate beyond that date if fees have not been paid. Anyone unsure
about previous balances should contact the Director prior to tryout dates.
Teams and/or the club may have fundraisers or seek sponsorships to defray membership costs.
Families with financial difficulties should contact the Director to discuss possible options available to the player
and the family to obtain fee relief. We do not want financial difficulty to hinder a player from realizing opportunities
provided by this organization
